[SOLVED]Updated to 2.7 and now "whitescreen" Karma: 0  
Updated a dozen sites to the new version 2.7, since then I can't access the component from the backend and it caused my sites to go down, only producing the "whitescreen". Only way to get the site back is to disable the plugin in the extension manager.

PS: also considering that nothing has changed from version 2.6 to 2.7 i hope that you have installed the correct package according to your Joomla version running. Eventually report the name by email when you contact me.

I am going to go ahead and just beat my head on the wall for a bit. I just looked at the downloaded package I updated the sites with and it is indeed the Joomla 2.5 version, I am running 3.4...... Going to chalk this one up to overworked and in a hurry.

That sounds reasonable, i couldn't think about other reasons

At this point, try to install over the correct package for Joomla 3.x WITHOUT uninstalling it to not lose collected stats. It should work smoothly again.
