Sorry, but I cannot tell from the documentation or the UI how to put in multiple IP exclusions in the Single IP address field.

Would comma separators work?

Or should I use the Multiple IP ranges field to enter them like this...

1.2.3.4-1.2.3.4
5.6.7.8-5.6.7.8

with each entry on a new line?

Yes exactly, single IP is for 1 address you have to use the method you wrote as below.
