question re Visitors vs IP vs Browse time Karma: 0
Getting a lot of unique Visitor names, like "Visitor_5.35", and they are all tied to a single IP, browsing different pages at a reasonable pace (changing every 30 seconds or so). This throws off the Vistor count, Visit lifetime and Bounce stats.

Any idea why this might be happening?

I guess that it could be a bot/spammer visiting your website from the same single IP address.
The best way to deal with this kind of situation is using exclusions by IP (if you know the IP obviously)

I happen to know who was doing this particular browsing, so it was legitimate traffic. Also, this seems to happen a lot, not just a few isolated cases.
