Notes not showing 3 Years, 11 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi,

I'm using the free version of instant paypal. Is it normal that the notes entered before purchase are not shown anywhere in paypal? Or am I missing something?

Thanks,
Robert

Hi Robert,

yes the notes field is not sent to Paypal in any way. Those fields are emailed to you not in PayPal.

Thanks,
John

Hi John,

Thank you for your reply How can I make sure the plugin is sending the email, cause I'm only getting the paypal email. The site sends emails when new users are added so the server settings are correct.

Thanks again,
Robert

Hi Robert,

you need to activate the option in the plugin settings to send notification emails and add your email address.

Hi,

I have tried everything possible, including removing the plugin and reinstalling. The plugin is not sending emails, everything else works well.

Could you suggest what else can I try please?

Thanks for your support

Robert

Hi Robert,

normally all that is required is enabling the email feature and set a valid name and email address for the sender.

At the moment i've no other clue about a possible issue. You can post here your site link just to test the frontend.
