Hi,
I would like to add some text to the top of the shop home page in instant paypal pro and wondered if there was an easy way to do this?

Hi,

the most correct and easy way to add a text/html to the home page of a component would be using a Joomla module positioned before the component output and assigned to that page.

Other than that you can just use the parameter for the shop title or setup a more complex template override.

I am using the home page from a menu item I cant seem to add this to a page from anywhere else I can add the modules for featured product search and cart is there something that I am missing?

Sorry but i'm not sure to fully understand you. I proposed all the possible ways to do such a thing with Joomla. About modules i was referring to a Custom HTML module, not a specific module included into Instant Paypal.
