strange behavior Twitter icon Karma: 0
I have a strange problem.
On a website I am building, the twitter icon (button) is showing normaly in Firefox and Chrome as a button (bird, border with rounded edges).
On an iPad 1 only the text: 'Tweet' is shown for some seconds, then the LinkedIn button appears nest to it and 'Tweet' disappears.
When I open your demo site on the same iPad, the Tweet text remains (no button though) , and is clickable.

It could be due to some incompatibilities between the Twitter scripts and iPad.

Try to test it with other browser and device, we'll do some tests on iPad too.

Hi John,

Thanks for your reaction! Indeed could be an incompatibility between the old iPad's javascript and the extension, but the strange thing is that on the same iPad, I can see the Twitter button on your demo site!
My site isa Joomla 3.4.5 with an Artisteer template, I assume your setup is different?

Regards, Eric

Hi Eric,

well the setup is the same... the Twitter javascript libray that is loaded should show the Twitter button. maybe the iPad 1 is not compatible. I tested on iPad 2 the demo site and works fine.

regards, John

Aha, same site setup, then it is even stranger that on your site it works with my iPad 1 and not on mine!

There could be some other scripts conflicting on iPad 1 on your site, i think that could be very difficult to find even because on iPad 1 there is no debugger for scripts.
