  • Security: Fixed an arbitrary file deletion issue when deleting a comment. The file paths of uploaded images and attachments are no longer trusted from the comment text. Only files located directly inside the JComment upload folders can be removed, and a file still used by another comment is kept. Reported by Tim


  • Fixed: Joomla 4 and later admin comment edit page hanging, caused by the database driver being copied into the form data. The internal property of the comment table has been renamed


  • Fixed: Missing article title in notification emails


  • Fixed: Images and attachments uploaded with a comment are now also removed when the comment text references them with an encoded name, an absolute URL or an old domain
