Cannot seem to figure how to publish something to the sidebar. I've tried various different modules, but nothing seems to ever show up. I did get my custom menu to show up in the menu portion, but I am blank on the sidebar. Can you provide more detail on how to do this and what is required?



What I want to do is simply display a list module to show links to the recent blog posts on the site. Tried the category list module but could not get it to work.

Very much appreciated anything you could do!

Hi, it's explained in the PDF docs and in the popover of the parameters for the sidebar.
You can call 1 module in the sidebar and you must specify:

1. the module name exactly as is in Joomla or filesystem, for example mod_menu or menu, mod_custom or custom, etc
2. the module title exactly as is named in the backend modules list, including case sensitive characters, for example Main Menu

I couldn't get my sidebar to display but I could see that the code was there when I looked at the source of my page. I found out that the icon was set to white and you can't see it with a white background...changed it to black and all was well.
