Should jsitemap users be replacing the default sitemap urls as rendered in the component with those you referenced?
e.g.,
replace in admin backend the default url provided by jsitemap:
http://www.yoursite.com/component/jmap/sitemap/xml
with
-
http://www.yoursite.com/component/jmap/sitemap/xml?format=xml
or
-
https://www.yourdomain.com/index.php/index.php?option=com_jmap&view=sitemap&format=xml
