Hello,

ensure that the user assignment to groups is correct, the user paulvdmerwe is assigned to the access level 'registered' as the chatroom. Take care that chatrooms works the same as Joomla articles, based on access level not directly groups.

If so, ensure that the cache parameter in the chat configuration is turned off. When it's turned on the chatrooms are cached thus that could be the problem.
