Try to tell me some more details, the chat sidebar must show in frontend. Ensure to uninstall the chat component and install the latest Enterprise version 2.1 without the license key, clear all the browser and Joomla cache. If not showing again it could be some javascript conflict going on. It's difficult to undestand if i have no access to the website. If you can't put it live you can send me an Akeeba backup so that i can restore it on my localhost.
