Chat doesn't open - index.json has no program

Hello,

I purchased this long ago and finally have time to install. I installed on Joomla 1.7. It seems to have installed fine. I added a menu link to the main page on my site. When I click the menu button, I receive a message that says 'Do you want to open or save the index.json file from 'my url'?

Do I need to have a certain program installed to use this chat? Am I missing a part of the setup?
