Hello Patrick, please refer to this FAQ: http://storejextensions.org/faq/access-to-videochat-does-not-longer-work-on-google-chrome-why.html The SSL certificate for https is required only for the videochat feature and only for Chrome 47+ All other chat features work without https and the videochat too on Firefox without https.
