Hi,
in the chat configuration you can select exclusion pages, so you can exclude all but that page of your choice. Also if you assign the module only to that page the plugin will run only there.

Sounds are located at root\components\com_jchat\sounds\mp3

I can't tell you how to place buttons for chat rooms change, it's a complex javascript app so it would require a custom development.
