I'm not aware of any other ways to clear the Facebook cache. I don't think that it will refresh the cache with a new scrape in future. Try Googling on this argument.

It says "The debug tool also refreshes any scraped content we have for your pages, so it can be useful if you need to update them more often than the standard 24 hour update period.
