Hello,

yes the chat can be configured to allow guests to see only customer servants and chat only with them. The live support mode allow you to choose which user groups in Joomla will be the customer servant. In this way normal guests will be able to chat only with servants and not each other.

If you have an external web shop application, probably the chat can't be run because it requires Joomla installation to work.
