One other thunk, if, from the admin side, permanent chat rooms are set by admins, and then, on the front side, users could create rooms that are non-permanent based on activity or inactivity.

also,, thank you for this well designed script,, I am going to buy this component now that i see it is going to be developed further .

I would be interested in your component were it integrated into EasySocial. You can see a competitor demo of this integration (does not support video) by TechJoomla called JBolo here and described here.

Would you include this integration in your next release? It would be nice to support the features of JBolo's integration but to extend to allow chat by EasySocial Group and their upcoming Events.

Would you be able to support a "Google HangoutsBridge" as an alternative video provider? It appears relatively straight-forward.

There is already a discussion of your app at EasySocial support forum you can see here. Why not engage those users to build your sales pipeline?

You can contact the lead developer Mark who has made himself available for quality extension providers such as you guys to speed the process up. They have full documentation for developers here and Mark's contact information is:

Email: mark AT stackideas.com
Skype: marklee_777

I'm eager to learn your thoughts.

Thanks and regards,

Hi Eileen and thanks for your time.

JChatSocial already integrates also with EasySocial for 3 aspects:
- Avatars
- Profile links
- Users list filtered by friendship

I can't understand how JBolo is integrated with EasySocial, if you know it please explain me, however i don't like copy competitors.

I already know Mark at stackideas, and more advanced integrations with EasySocial such as converstations are already planned to be developed in future, but currently this is not priority,

In next release available very soon a new feature will be available for multiple chatrooms.

About video, our challenge is develop a custom solution to avoid external provider but instead use the built in HTML5 features to stream a peer to peer video chat.

Thanks and regards

John

Hello the new release will be available soon as soon as finished testing and final improvements.

Chat rooms will be created and managed in administrator and users will be able to join in front-end to receive messages only from users in same chat room.

A preview screenshot is visible on our Facebook page.

I bought the basic version last week because I did not know that with version 2.2 there was a chat room.
For me it is important to have the chat room, I could pay the difference already having the basic version?
