Hello,, been following the thread and a questions has come for me, I noticed your beta testing was tied to the Joomla 3 environment. I am currently on J2.5x,, (( restricted on any update to 3 until my hosting Co. updates to a more current php version that J3 requires.))

Question: once you have released your new version, will it work on the Joomla 2.5 platform??

yes of course.
We are actively developing our extensions for Joomla 2.5 and 3.x, and extension features will be the same in both version.
We have stopped developing for old Joomla 1.5, but development for Joomla 2.5 extensions will be continued for at least 1 or 2 years.

I have been using jchatsocial pro on my website for a couple of days now and i have many problem with the admin panel.

I use Joomla! 2.5.20. and jchatsocial pro for kunena forum integration.

Problem 1 : When i turn ON the option "Show latest messages entering rooms". If i disconnect and reconnect, the webchat is cleared and i can't see the old conversation.

Problème 2 : I turn OFF the option "Show users in chatrooms", but users are still there in chatroom.

Please help.

Hello, these are not problems but the normal working of component.

1. The conversations works based on Joomla sessions, so when you disconnect and login again a new Joomla session is started and convesation are always empty. The Show latest messages entering rooms works when you are connected in the current session. Currently messages history is available in backend, in next version will be developed a messages history also in frontend, so you will be able to recover old messages on subsequent login directly from frontend.

2. Show users in chatrooms is an option to disable only the tooltip that shows the users joined in a certain chatroom. If you need to control users that are in chatroom you can use access level to manage rooms permissions.
